Job Description
Yext is seeking a Senior Analyst to join their Strategic Finance team. This role will report to the VP of Strategic Finance and will be responsible for R&D FP&A functions in addition to long term corporate strategic projects.
Role involves:
- Acting as the finance business partner and P&L owner for the R&D organization.
- Owning the budgeting and forecasting process for R&D.
- Developing and managing financial models to support Yext’s strategic investments.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support.
- Driving alignment on KPIs and metrics.
- Assisting with capital planning efforts, corporate finance, and investor relations.
- Preparing presentations and key reporting to the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in finance at a tech company, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel/G Sheets.
- Experience with financial planning applications like Anaplan (a plus).
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau (a plus).
- Ability to develop strong relationships with business partners.
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with financial and accounting concepts.
- Experience driving corporate or department level strategic analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
