Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to support power characterization and measurement across its silicon platforms. The ideal candidate will develop automation scripts, assist in setting up power measurement experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This on-site role, based in Toronto, Canada, offers the opportunity to gain experience in hardware-software interaction and silicon-level power analysis.Role involves:
- Developing and maintaining scripts to automate power measurement workflows.
- Setting up and performing controlled power measurements on silicon hardware in lab environments.
- Interfacing with hardware instrumentation and power management ICs.
- Collecting, analyzing, and documenting power consumption data.
- Collaborating with silicon validation, hardware, and firmware teams to debug power-related issues.
- Maintaining power lab infrastructure and ensuring accuracy of test setups.
- Analyzing data and generating reports summarizing measurement results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or MATLAB.
- Basic understanding of electronics, device physics, and power measurement principles.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Data analysis and visualization experience.
- Detail-oriented with good documentation practices.
