Sr. Staff/Principal Engineer, SI/PI (Signal Integrity/Power Integrity)

Job Description

Tenstorrent is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Staff/Principal Engineer specializing in Signal Integrity/Power Integrity (SI/PI) to join their team in New Taipei City, Taiwan. This role is pivotal in ensuring the signal and power integrity of Tenstorrent's high-performance AI computing hardware. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet simulation and measurement margins for data centers, workstations, and consumer computing applications.Role involves:

• Leading SI & PI efforts for high-speed AI computing hardware.
• Managing global ODMs and providing SI-related guidance.
• Designing and optimizing the Power Delivery Network (PDN).
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Conducting high-speed scope, TDR & VNA measurements.
• Training internal members on SI/PI best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microwave, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SI/PI and product design & manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge with ADS, HFSS/3D, Sigrity, Hspice, or similar tools.
• Extensive knowledge of Interfaces like GDDR, LPDDR, DDR, PCIe Gen 5 & 6, Ethernet IEEE 802.3 all speeds, USB, etc.
• Experience with measurements & standards compliance procedures.
