Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking a Senior Automation and Qualification Engineer to ensure product quality through automated testing. This role involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks, defining test strategies, and implementing automated test cases. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to align on test coverage and timelines, lead root cause analysis, and track quality metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
- Define comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, system, and performance testing.
- Implement automated test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Execute tests and analyze results to identify defects, regressions, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Product, IP Systems and Firmware teams to align on test coverage, priorities, and timelines.
- Lead root cause analysis of issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Track quality metrics and provide detailed reporting on test progress and product readiness.
- Continuously optimize and expand test automation infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong experience developing test automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Computer Architecture and Silicon testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
