The company is seeking a Business Development Representative to serve as a crucial link between the Marketing and Sales teams. This role focuses on cultivating new business opportunities through outreach and relationship-building with potential clients. The ideal candidate will leverage their communication skills to foster strong connections with future customers, driving sales and contributing to the company's long-term growth. This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days a week in our local Boston office.
Role Involves:
Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns and developing them into sales opportunities.
Contacting potential clients through phone calls and emails.
Identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate products/services.
Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives.
Presenting the company to potential clients.
Engaging with potential clients at regular industry-leading events.
Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.
Staying up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration (or similar) or relevant field experience.
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative.
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques.
Track record of successfully engaging with prospects.
Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM software (e.g., Hubspot and Salesforce).
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
