Full Stack Typescript Engineer (m/f/x)

commercetools is seeking a Full Stack Typescript Engineer to join their team in London. This role offers a hybrid work environment, requiring three days a week in the London office. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Product Manager and Omnichannel Leader to enable retailers to use commercetools’ solutions across channels. The engineer will be part of an agile and international environment, utilizing a modern tech stack.

The Full Stack Typescript Engineer will contribute to the company's mission by designing and developing scalable and secure payment systems. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure the technical excellence of the platform and participate in an on-call rotation.

Role Involves:

• Designing and developing scalable and secure payment systems
• Implementing and testing in-store payment and payment device interactions
• Collaborating with Product Management to understand business needs
• Contributing to the team roadmap
• Ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met
• Working with engineers from different teams
• Participating in on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Experience as a full stack engineer with Typescript
• Solid understanding of parallel and asynchronous programming
• Experience in developing REST APIs
• Knowledge of document databases (MongoDB)
• Fluent written and verbal English
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
