Frontend Engineer - Onboarding

BitGo, a leading infrastructure provider of digital asset solutions, is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their team in Toronto. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and maintaining the UI and frontend components of BitGo's onboarding experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.BitGo requires the candidate to be onsite in their Toronto office.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and product managers to plan and develop new UIs.
• Improve existing UI functionality on a variety of products.
• Build reusable code for future use.
• Contribute to codebase health improvements.
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand implementation requirements and limitations.
• Provide mentorship to peers through code reviews and education.
• Provide maintenance support and enhance performance to existing applications.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of frontend and UI development experience.
• Strong experience with React.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in Git / GitHub, branching methodologies, code review tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
