Job Description
Platform Science is seeking a Credit and Collections Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for credit approvals and cash collection, focusing on customers in the US and Canada. The Credit and Collections Specialist will analyze accounts receivable, track overdue accounts, and interact with customers to collect payments.

Responsibilities:
  • Review sales orders on credit hold.
  • Analyze aged A/R balances and contact customers.
  • Process credit card transactions.
  • Log customer contacts and collection activities.
  • Make recommendations on customer credits and bad debt reserves.
  • Liaise between customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Complete month-end and quarter-end deliverables.
  • Improve productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit & collections.
  • Experience with cash application.
  • Experience in reducing aged A/R.
  • Understanding of the billing process.
  • Strong analytical, math, and reconciliation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
