XPENG, a smart technology company specializing in AI and autonomous driving, is seeking a Senior Staff Computer Vision Engineer. This role involves leading the development and deployment of high-performance, large-scale AI models, focusing on optimizing model inference and implementing compression techniques. The engineer will contribute to real-world deployment efforts in autonomous driving systems.Role involves:

• Optimizing large-scale multimodal models for low-latency inference.
• Applying model compression techniques like quantization and pruning.
• Developing and integrating custom inference kernels.
• Building profiling tools to analyze bottlenecks.
• Contributing to autonomous driving system deployment.
• Tracking the latest research in efficient ML inference.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong coding skills in C++ and Python.
• Proficient in deploying deep learning models using TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, or TVM.
• Familiarity with CUDA programming and parallel computing principles.
• Solid understanding of model inference workflows and system-level performance tuning.
• Experience in quantization-aware training or post-training quantization.
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
