Python Software Engineer at Bynder

Bynder is seeking a Python Software Engineer to join their team in Rotterdam. This role involves working on the back end, contributing to the architecture, and implementing new features in collaboration with designers, product owners, and other engineers. The ideal candidate cares about both the product and the technology powering it, capable of writing clean, maintainable, and quality code.

The Software Engineer will design and build robust, high-performance, and scalable applications. They will act as an internal consultant, communicating with stakeholders to understand business needs and working with other teams to troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and building high performance and scalable applications.
• Working with designers, product owners and other engineers to implement new features.
• Troubleshooting technical issues.
• Being an internal consultant.

Requirements:

• Experience building microservices with containers, Scala, and Reactive.
• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in a software development environment.
• Experience working with server-side applications.
• Excellent coding skills.
• Experience in security practices and standards.
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
