Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to be based in Mexico City. This role is essential to the Field Marketing and regional field sales organization. The Field Marketing Manager will work closely with local sales and the marketing team to define focus areas, strategic direction, and demand generation tactics to create pipeline through events and trade shows. They will drive and ensure customer engagement, success, and loyalty across the assigned region. This person will be the first locally-based marketer for Verkada in Mexico, scaling the marketing presence in the region.Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with sales and marketing leadership to create annual and quarterly marketing plans.
- Creating impactful and scalable field marketing programs to accelerate Verkada’s growth in Mexico.
- Curating local events and trade shows to engage customers and partners.
- Providing data and insights to support sales and drive new pipeline.
- Negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and venues.
- Coordinating communication among cross-functional teams.
- Working with local partners to accelerate their customer engagement approach.
- Acting as the local marketing representative.
Requirements include:
- 5+ years of marketing experience in an IT, high-tech, B2B environment.
- Proven ability to execute multiple concurrent events.
- Proven track record filling events through effective marketing channels.
- Leadership mindset and ability to rally cross-functional teams.
- High degree of ownership and autonomy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Scrappy, do-whatever-it-takes attitude.
- Passion for providing innovative security solutions.
- Must be in-office when not traveling.
- Full professional proficiency in English
