Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Project Control Engineer for a large-scale construction project in King Abdullah Economic City, Jeddah. The ideal candidate will be central to the successful planning, coordination, reporting, and delivery of the project, requiring strong technical expertise in schedule development, schedule integration, risk management, and project reporting. He/She will possess a deep understanding of industrial project lifecycles, contractual frameworks, and the tools required to drive execution performance.
- Develop and manage fully integrated, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Lead the integration of equipment suppliers’ timelines into the master project schedule.
- Monitor contractor and vendor performance against contractual milestones and key deliverables.
- Identify scheduling impacts, interface risks, and potential delays; recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support the assessment and substantiation of change orders, delay analysis, and extension of time claims.
- Maintain and update the project risk register; contribute to structured risk reviews and mitigation planning.
- Prepare and deliver accurate progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on industrial construction projects.
- Proven expertise in Primavera P6, Excel, and project control systems (cost, schedule, and reporting).
- Deep understanding of Design and Build frameworks, project life cycles, and international contract standards such as FIDIC.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complexity and influence stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
