Bynder is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team in Rotterdam. Bynder's platform enables teams to conquer the chaos of proliferating content and relationships.This role involves:
- Shaping the technical vision to elevate Bynder’s platform.
- Designing, writing, and maintaining clean, high-quality code primarily in Python and Java.
- Partnering closely with product managers to create impactful features.
- Taking ownership of projects and guiding the team toward solutions.
- Fostering a culture of growth through feedback.
- Advanced experience in backend development and architecture.
- 5-8 years in software development, including 2+ years mentoring teams.
- A track record of taking ownership of projects.
- Strong knowledge of backend APIs, distributed systems, microservices, and database management.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and automated testing.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
