Bynder is seeking a talented SaaS Software Architect to join their team and contribute to the design and development of their innovative software platform. The Software Architect will have the opportunity to shape the future of Bynder's architecture while helping to create best practices that enable the whole team to succeed. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to define architectural visions for key areas of Bynder's cloud-based SaaS offerings. The architect will also guide technology choices, ensuring that Bynder's solutions remain flexible and scalable as they grow. Role involves:
- Standardizing architectural practices and documentation.
- Sharing design patterns and best practices with other teams.
- Collaborating with teams to assess and validate new technologies.
- Assist in the design and development of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Help define and document reference architectural approaches.
- Establish and maintain standards for architectural documentation.
- Promote architectural design patterns, principles, and best practices.
- Evaluate and validate technology choices.
- Research emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
- Implement robust security measures to protect data and systems.
- Optimize system performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience designing and architecting SaaS solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms or Kubernetes with an emphasis on AWS.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience working with reactive, event-driven microservice architectures.
- Experience with modern software development methodologies, such as Agile, DevOps, SAFe and CI/CD.
- Expertise with at least several programming languages including Scala, Python, Java, and Typescript.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements for SaaS applications.
