Job Description
Accela is seeking an Account Director to drive sales strategy and enhance territory growth. The Account Director will coordinate efforts across teams, execute sales initiatives, and secure new business while maintaining existing accounts. This role involves creating solutions for customer needs and guiding them through the sales process, specifically covering the North Central region.
Responsibilities: - Manage and grow key accounts.
- Identify and progress new business.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Own the sales pipeline.
- Maintain and grow revenue from existing customers.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Create high-value proposals.
- Build a comprehensive territory plan.
- Provide leadership and support to Account Executives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Lead and contribute to RFP responses.
- Meet annual sales targets.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience with enterprise software.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Experience in qualifying new opportunities and forecasting.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to travel in excess of 50%.
