Job Description
Northeast Dermatology Associates is seeking a Practice Manager for their Portsmouth, NH clinic. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of the clinic by leading and coordinating administrative and clinical teams. The Practice Manager will work closely with the physician to oversee the delivery of exceptional healthcare services and maintain high standards of patient care.

Role Involves:
  • Preparing examination and treatment rooms.
  • Maintaining and organizing supplies and equipment.
  • Assisting in scheduling diagnostic tests and treatments.
  • Maintaining patient files and records.
  • Ordering and maintaining clinical and office supplies.
  • Overseeing equipment standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with practice standards and procedures.
  • Monitoring staff adherence to standards.
  • Supporting and assisting staff members.
  • Leading recruitment efforts and managing onboarding.
  • Conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitoring staff schedules and managing attendance.
  • Completing incident reports and managing workers’ compensation claims.
  • Supervising employees and reviewing completed work.
  • Overseeing productivity and offering recommendations for hiring, termination, and pay adjustments.
  • Directing daily operations including registration, cash collection, and charge preparation.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • At least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in navigating computer systems and using practice management software.
  • Ability to scribe chart notes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of medical practice and organizational policies.
  • Familiarity with examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
  • Skills in using and maintaining medical equipment.
  • Awareness of safety hazards and precautions.
  • Competence in documenting patient care records.
  • Previous Manager/Leadership in healthcare experience required.
