Job Description
Legend Biotech is seeking a VP of Medical Affairs to provide strategic leadership in developing and executing integrated Medical Affairs strategies. This role involves close collaboration with partners like JnJ and internal teams, focusing on product development, launches, and KOL engagements. The VP will oversee a team of medical affairs professionals and manage medical functions, ensuring alignment on critical matters and driving international congress planning.
Role Involves:
- Overseeing a team of 12+ MSLs and other medical affairs members.
- Leading the U.S. and global Medical Affairs Strategy.
- Overseeing execution of strategic plans for medical affairs.
- Driving international Congress Planning.
- Providing review and approval for publications.
Requirements:
- MD (preferred), PhD, PharmD, or relevant advanced degree with 10+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated evidence generation plan.
- Deep relationship with the multiple myeloma KOL community is strongly preferred.
- Prior oncology or malignant hematology experience, particularly in multiple myeloma.
- Good understanding of GCP and medical affairs compliance and good practices.
