Job Description

Legend Biotech is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team in Somerset, NJ. This role will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions for a Legend entity, with a focus on payroll, treasury, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with various teams and provide accounting support as needed. Role involves:

• Preparing journal entries and variance analysis
• Creating operating entity reporting packages
• Analyzing financial data and explaining fluctuations
• Managing payroll and prepayments
• Assisting with intercompany transactions
• Preparing account reconciliations
• Maintaining internal controls
• Cooperating with auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience in the biopharmaceutical/medical devices industry or large corporation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Cooperation and collaboration spirit
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Process-oriented with strong analytical skills
