Job Description
Critical Mass is seeking a VP of Technology to lead their Chicago-based team and accounts, including the US Army, and support their AI practice. This role involves working alongside technology leadership, overseeing technology strategy, platform architecture, micro-sites, precision marketing, and innovation. As the technical leader, the VP of Technology will ensure the team has the appropriate talent, processes, and tools for success. They will have direct input on the roadmap and be the steward of technical solutions.Critical Mass is at the forefront of wholistic digital ecosystem thinking and experience delivery.   • Leading and growing the “Pancakes” group of accounts and talent.
  • Contributing leadership to the global AI and innovation practice.
  • Providing technical strategy and leadership within Critical Mass and to clients.
  • Partnering with other disciplines to elevate digital experiences.
  • Supporting organic and new business growth.
  • Overseeing multiple projects and programs across technology platforms.
  • Mentoring Technology Directors and Technology Leads.
Requirements:
  • A post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field.
  • Expertise that enhances Critical Mass’s ability to deliver experiences.
  • Understanding of programming and architecture of large-scale projects.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions (AEM, Target, Analytics).
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent clients and projects.
  • Experience working as part of a globally distributed team.
  • Experience mentoring managers and overseeing distributed teams.
  • Willingness to undergo federal security clearance (CAC/T3).
