Job Description
iCapital is seeking a Fund Origination professional to support its growing registered and direct fund business. This role focuses on manager onboarding and fund lifecycle management, leading onboarding projects and collaborating with clients to launch funds on the iCapital platform. The professional will represent the company as a subject matter expert and help shape iCapital’s service offering across various fund structures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead new registered and direct onboarding projects.
- Collaborate with asset managers, wealth managers, and service providers.
- Drive prioritization and support building procedures within the iCapital ecosystem.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert.
- Leverage experience to help shape iCapital’s service offering across various fund structures.
- Prepare and present new funds to various decision-making groups.
- Assist in various ad hoc fund launch activities.
- Help drive the rollout of new platform functionality impacting the fund launch and lifecycle management process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product management and/or development experience.
- Experience in alternative investments with a focus in various fund structures.
- Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
