Job Description
Vercel is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This role is crucial for shaping metrics-driven decision-making within the company. The Strategic Finance Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Finance. This is a hybrid role based in New York City or San Francisco, requiring 1-2 days per week in the office.
Role involves:
- Serving as a trusted partner for Sales leadership.
- Developing financial models to forecast sales performance.
- Managing key metrics for financial planning and sales compensation.
- Providing data-driven recommendations on resource allocation.
- Collaborating across teams to drive process improvements.
- Participating in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A.
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
- Previous Strat Fin experience, preferably from an infrastructure software company.
- Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert financial modeling skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate and establish relationships.
