Frontend Engineer

Job Description

Rush Street Interactive is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their Payments team in Medellín. The ideal candidate will contribute to providing market-relevant payment methods for seamless and fast payment transactions to customers. This role involves taking technical ownership of payment-related website components, implementing new payment integrations, and assisting team members with technical challenges.

The Frontend Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain features built in React to create an amazing experience for end users. They will also contribute to the company roadmap and innovation across the company, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What this role involves:

• Taking technical ownership of payment related website components
• Implementing new payment integrations based on 3rd party provider documentation
• Assisting team members with technical challenges while adhering to best practices
• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining features built in React
• Contributing to maintaining and adding monitoring for frontend flows

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Frontend development
• Experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience in working with large enterprise applications, great troubleshooting skills
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Eagerness to constantly learn and update your skills
• Self-starter attitude with a high degree of initiative and a positive mindset
• Understanding or strong interest in Agile methods
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
