Sr. Technical Project Manager & Engineering Operations

Job Description

Vimeo is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to support its engineering operations, focusing on the Payments infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a certified Scrum Master with deep Jira expertise and a proven track record of managing complex technical projects.This role involves:

• Directing and overseeing technical projects within the Payments infrastructure.
• Serving as an Agile Coach for engineering teams.
• Leveraging Jira for project tracking and issue management.
• Triaging and resolving production issues.
• Managing backlog and prioritizing tasks.
• Partnering with Product & Engineering stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining project plans and documentation.
• Providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Tracking and reporting engineering KPIs.
• Optimizing team processes.

The requirements for this role include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical project management.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
• Extensive experience with Jira.
• Strong understanding of payments infrastructure.
• Proven ability to triage and resolve production issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Experience with incident management processes.
