Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Field Implementation Consultant to join their team in Hamburg. This role involves the installation, technical support, and on-site support of Lightspeed's Point-of-Sale products in the gastronomy and hospitality sectors. The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of products, supporting strategic clients in optimal usage, and representing Lightspeed in Germany.
Role Involves:
- Traveling to customer locations to assist with hardware installation and provide technical support.
- Organizing and conducting training sessions for business owners, management teams, and employees on using the POS system.
- Assisting customers with the setup and integration of systems on-site.
- Installing and troubleshooting network devices, including routers and WLAN access points.
- Documenting installation processes, network information, and technical details.
- Coordinating with the team lead and installation coordinator on installation progress.
- Managing hardware components to ensure they are ready for customer appointments.
- Efficiently planning deployments in collaboration with the installation coordinator.
- Communicating with the development team regarding product and customer concerns.
- Representing Lightspeed to new and existing customers.
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges using troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborating with team members from Launch & Professional Services to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Experience in the gastronomy or hospitality industry.
- Technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple customer projects.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with the Field Sales Team.
- Self-motivated, organized, and independent work style.
- Fluent in German and English.
