Field Implementation Consultant, Edinburgh

Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Field Implementation Consultant to join their team in Edinburgh. This role involves providing on-site service and technical assistance for Lightspeed's Point of Sale products within the hospitality industry. The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth go-live process for strategic customers, representing Lightspeed in the UK, and promoting the product through exceptional service.

Responsibilities include:

• Traveling to customer locations to facilitate hardware implementation and provide technical support.
• Planning and organizing on-site training sessions for business owners and staff.
• Guiding customers through setup, implementations, and integrations.
• Installing/troubleshooting networking devices.
• Documenting and tracking customer installations and network details.
• Reporting progress to the Team Lead and Installation Coordinator.
• Ensuring all hardware is present before on-site visits.
• Managing schedules and collaborating with the Installation Coordinator.
• Communicating with the development team regarding customer and product issues.
• Representing Lightspeed as a company ambassador.
• Using troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues.
• Working closely with the Launch and Professional Services team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to handle multiple implementation projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Field Sales team.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and self-educated.
• Fluent in English.
