Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Field Implementation Consultant to join their team in Glasgow. This role involves providing on-site service and technical assistance for Lightspeed's Point of Sale products within the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, and bars. The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth go-live process for strategic customers, representing Lightspeed in the UK, and growing the customer base through exceptional service.
Responsibilities: - Travel to customer locations to facilitate hardware implementation and provide technical support.
- Plan and organize onsite training sessions with business owners, management, and staff.
- Guide customers onsite through setup, implementations, and integrations.
- Install/troubleshoot networking devices.
- Document and track customer installation details.
- Report installation progress to the Team Lead and Installation Coordinator.
- Ensure all hardware is present before onsite visits.
- Manage schedule and collaborate with the Installation Coordinator.
- Communicate with the development team regarding customer and product issues.
- Represent Lightspeed as a company ambassador.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues.
- Work closely with the Launch and Professional Services team.
Requirements: - Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to handle multiple implementation projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Field Sales team.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Fluent in English.
