Job Description
AB InBev Growth Group is seeking a Tech Engineering Coordinator to lead a team of developers and ensure technical excellence. This role involves guiding the design, development, and scaling of backend systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and maintainability. The coordinator will align with Software Architects, DevOps, and Product teams to drive technical decisions and remove blockers.
Role involves:
- Leading 1:1s and mentoring engineers.
- Setting growth plans and supporting team development.
- Overseeing microservices, API design, and messaging (RabbitMQ).
- Managing NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Requirements:
- Experience in software engineering leadership and backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ).
- Deep understanding of observability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Experience with automated testing.
- People management skills, with a track record of mentoring and growing engineers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to align business and technology needs.
- Advanced English for effective collaboration in an international team.
