Job Description
Scale is seeking a Site Lead for Robotics Fleet Operations to scale a global field organization responsible for large-scale robotics data collection. This leadership role will oversee a distributed team across multiple geographies, ensuring operational excellence, data quality, and regulatory compliance. The Site Lead will drive strategy, optimize workflows, and establish the necessary infrastructure to support Scale's robotics initiatives at scale.

Role involves:
  • Defining and executing strategy for a global field operations organization.
  • Overseeing and scaling a hybrid workforce.
  • Establishing and optimizing regional hubs.
  • Developing and enforcing global compliance frameworks.
  • Driving operational efficiency through standardized workflows and automation.
  • Fostering collaboration with engineering, product, and AI teams.
  • Monitoring key performance metrics and iterating on process improvements.
  • Overseeing technology investments in hardware, software, and automation.


Requirements:
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in operations, robotics, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in scaling field organizations, managing full-time teams and contractor networks.
  • Experience with multi-site operations, including international field deployments.
  • Strong background in compliance, safety, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with robotics, autonomous systems, and AI-driven data collection workflows.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making ability.
