Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Technical Services Officer to join their Corporate IT Team in Malta. This role involves providing top-quality service to Betsson Group customers, addressing each customer individually, and delivering service on the correct technical level. The ideal candidate is driven by making a difference, taking ownership of tasks, and following up until they are resolved. They should be motivated by complex challenges and eager to maintain and improve the current IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests.
- Making full use of available tools during the diagnosing and execution stages of Incidents and Service Requests.
- Routing incidents and service requests to other service teams or third-party suppliers.
- Tracking and retaining ownership of incidents and service requests to ensure service levels are met.
- Continually observing a security-aware approach.
- Contributing to the setting up of operating procedures with other Service Teams.
- Contributing to the articulation, maintenance, and enforcement of Service Desk procedures.
- Producing management reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Identifying trends and potential problem sources.
- Taking ownership of system and service monitoring.
- Handling all customer-related activities initiated by Internal IT across the group.
- Ensuring full cooperation and effective communication with various departments.
Requirements:
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues.
- Familiarity with incident management and service request fulfillment procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Security-aware approach.
