Job Description
Mythical Games is seeking a Sr. DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to advance a career at the intersection of Gaming, E-commerce, and Blockchain. The ideal candidate will ensure the high availability, performance, and security of APIs and backend services. They will participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation and collaborate with development and security teams to design scalable and reliable infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of APIs and backend services.
- Participating in SRE 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
- Collaborating with development and security teams to design infrastructure.
- Collecting and evaluating operating systems and applications data.
- Engaging in consulting on system design and capacity planning.
- Performing application load testing.
- Reviewing existing infrastructure for improvements.
- Developing and maintaining operational and procedural documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an infrastructure-focused engineering role.
- 3+ years of production experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform or Crossplane.
- Experience running production systems over cloud providers (GCP preferable).
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with at least one programming language (Golang, Python, Java, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
- Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault, Google KMS.
- Skills in setup monitoring and alerting (Grafana/Prometheus stack preferable).
