Job Description
PlayStation, a global leader in entertainment, is seeking a Manager of Marketing Operations (Global Focus). This role, reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning within the Global Marketing and Sales division, will drive operational excellence across global marketing initiatives. The Manager will ensure efficient processes, resource alignment, and adherence to strategic priorities, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver effective execution of marketing operations globally. This global role supports multiple product lines, including PS5 hardware, PS Plus, 1st party and 3rd party software, and the PlayStation Store.
Key responsibilities involve:
- Refining and managing the end-to-end global marketing operations process.
- Developing and documenting standard operating procedures.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas of ambiguity in decision-making.
- Developing templates and tools to track product launch and campaign workflows.
- Partnering with the global marketing budget process.
- Providing input and recommending metrics to benchmark marketing allocations.
- Commissioning analysis of global marketing performance metrics.
- Supporting leadership with data-driven insights for quarterly forecasts and business reviews.
- Acting as a key liaison between GMSBO and cross-functional teams.
- Facilitating clear communication of strategic planning outputs and portfolio priorities.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, strategic planning, or a related role.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise reporting platforms.
