Garner Health is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their member-facing team. This role involves providing support to members, helping them understand and navigate their healthcare benefits. The representative will engage with members through phone, chat, and email, guiding them to access high-quality care at the lowest cost.Role involves:
- Delivering exceptional member support via phone, chat, and email
- Educating members on their healthcare benefits
- Helping members find the best care available
- Handling complex conversations with empathy and patience
- De-escalating members experiencing issues with their benefits
- Working with other departments to address cross-departmental issues
- Identifying and escalating feedback from member interactions
- Staying up to date on evolving procedures
- Protecting member privacy and maintaining compliance with HIPAA
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of call center/customer service experience
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Openness to feedback
- Technical proficiency with customer service platforms (e.g., Zendesk)
