Job Description
EarnIn is seeking an Engineering Manager, Machine Learning to lead a team of ML Engineers and Analysts in Bengaluru. This role is crucial for driving core ML initiatives and ensuring the health and scalability of machine learning systems. The position is hybrid, requiring work from the Bengaluru office. The role involves:
- Leading a team of Machine Learning Engineers and ML Analysts.
- Reviewing designs and driving the launch of efficient and reliable models.
- Finding innovative and cost-effective solutions to key problems.
- Enabling the team to train and deploy state-of-the-art multi-task deep learning and/or statistical model pipelines.
- Partnering with product managers, tech leads, and stakeholders to analyze business problems.
- Driving high engineering standards on the team through mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
- Driving engineering best practices around code reviews, automated testing and monitoring.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience managing and leading a team of ML Engineers.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ML engineering and extensive knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating closely with product, analytics, engineering, and/or other partners.
- Hands-on experience with the architectural patterns for large, high-scale software applications.
- Industry experience building and productionizing machine learning systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
