Altium is seeking a motivated Field Application Engineer to join their Technical Sales Engineering Team. This role focuses on providing technical service and support to prospects and customers, emphasizing PCB Design and Data Management. The ideal candidate will improve product adoption, customer retention, and revenue growth by enhancing the perception of the Altium brand.
Role Involves:
Performing technical discovery engagements and sales presentations.
Creating and delivering technical content for sales and marketing.
Grasping client challenges and establishing credibility.
Reducing sales cycle and expanding sales pipeline.
Driving adoption of Altium’s product portfolio.
Expanding technical knowledge and understanding competitor products.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Engineering.
Fluency in English (B2+/C1) and French (B2+/C1).
Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar tools.
Experience in technical content creation and demonstrations.
Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of PCB Design, Data Management, and Cloud Solutions.
Experience with PCB Simulation & Analysis is desirable.
Ability to match business needs with technical solutions.
Ability to perform Application Engineering, Support, and Sales functions.
