Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Portfolio Data Operations Analyst to join their Portfolio Data Operations team. This role is within the Addepar Engineering organization and focuses on ensuring clients have timely and high-quality data. The analyst will oversee the processing of transactions and positions, ensure data quality through verification checks, and assist clients with data support questions. The Portfolio Data Operations team is a central point of contact, requiring daily communication with data providers, clients, and internal personnel.
The role involves:
- Performing daily internal verification checks to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigating and troubleshooting data pipeline issues.
- Maintaining operational workflows and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Collaborating with Client Support, Solution Architects, and other teams to resolve client data inquiries.
- Partnering with Product and Engineering to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
- Participating in company initiatives to stand up new product functionality or services.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the financial investment/advisory industry.
- Deep knowledge of capital markets, trade processing, and middle/back-office operations systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Team-oriented, dedicated, and forward-thinking attitude.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, Salesforce, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, or other financial services systems are preferred.
