Job Description

NEORIS, an EPAM COMPANY, is seeking a Java Developer to join their team in Madrid, Spain, for a banking sector project. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining Java-based applications, implementing solutions on the AWS platform, and applying Agile methodologies.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications following best practices and industry standards.
  • Implement solutions on the AWS platform ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Apply Agile methodologies for efficient project execution and delivery.
  • Implement and execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approaches.
  • Design and implement event-driven architectures.
  • Utilize Continuous Integration tools such as Git, Github, and Jenkins for seamless development workflows.

We Are Looking For The Following Experience:

  • Proficiency in Java programming (versions 8/11/17) with a strong understanding of its ecosystems.
  • Proven experience working with AWS services and architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in TDD/BDD practices and frameworks.
  • Experience in designing event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (Git, Github, Jenkins).
  • Exposure to pre-production and/or production deployments in cloud environments.
  • Preferred experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
