Director, Solutions Engineering, East (Remote, East Coast)

Job Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering for the East Coast. This role involves building and managing a high-performing team of Solution Engineers, acting as a cultural ambassador, and scaling the East SE organization. The Director will collaborate with Sales VPs, Sales RDs, SE Managers, AEs, and SEs to evolve processes and increase win rates. They will also serve as a thought leader, providing field feedback to inform product and GTM strategy.Role involves:

• Building and managing a team of Solution Engineers
• Driving key opportunities alongside the VP of Sales
• Evolving repeatable processes and playbooks
• Providing feedback to product and GTM strategy

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in 2nd line SE leadership
• Experience scaling teams to over 30+ employees
• Proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth startup
• Experience in open source, developer-centric GTM motions, or observability
• Extensive experience with complex, enterprise sales
• Ideally located in NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, or Atlanta
