Job Description
GOAT Group is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist for their Teterboro, New Jersey facility. This role supports the Asset Protection team and ensures a safe and secure work environment. The specialist will act as a visual deterrent to loss and document activities.
Role involves:
- Maintaining and enforcing Asset Protection Associate POST Orders.
- Assisting in implementing safety programs and emergency procedures.
- Training new and existing security guards.
- Supporting access control efforts and visitor programs.
- Completing opening/closing checklists.
- Assisting with vendor audits and cycle count inventories.
- Maintaining security presence and reporting suspicious activity.
Requirements:
- One or more years of warehouse, distribution center, or retail store experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Security Guard and/or Asset Protection experience preferred.
- Audit and compliance experience preferred.
- Familiarity with CCTV, NVR, Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and iOS (a plus).
- Ability to coach and train team members.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work in a warehouse or retail environment with varying conditions.
