Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Solution Consulting team. This role is pivotal in providing technical leadership and advice to enterprise customers, guiding them in transforming their digital experience. The Senior Sales Engineer will take ownership of the technical sales process, identify and qualify technical opportunities, and cultivate trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders. They will also deliver compelling sales pitches, technical presentations, and whiteboard sessions to ensure successful deployments.
Role involves:
- Providing technical thought leadership and advice to enterprise customers.
- Taking total ownership of the technical sale and processes.
- Identifying and qualifying technical opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Delivering sales pitches, technical and whiteboards presentations to ensure successful deployments.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or equivalent combination of education.
- 15+ years of experience as an SE or systems integrator.
- Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and managing routers, switches, and network security technologies.
- GPO, Active Directory/LDAP and SSO/SAML experience.
- HTTP and web security technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and managing routers, switches, macOS, UNIX/Linux, and Windows systems.
