Ultima Genomics, a rapidly growing life sciences technology company, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director for the EMEA region. This role is crucial for driving capital equipment sales and achieving revenue targets in a dynamic environment. The Sales Director will report to the General Manager EMEA and collaborate with company leadership to secure sales wins.
Responsibilities: - Lead the development of territory strategy and plans.
- Establish and execute strategies for new instrument placements.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, commercial operations, and service/support teams.
- Ensure territory delivers quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, including KOLs and strategic accounts.
- Drive account relationships and sales to achieve Ultima's sales goals.
- Foster connectedness of field-based team and align them with company goals.
- Drive alignment, consistency, and best practices across the sales team.
Requirements: - BS in Biology or related discipline.
- 8+ years in life science or clinical diagnostics sales.
- 5+ years of proven success in capital equipment sales.
- Strong working knowledge of genomics technology and NGS.
- Located in Germany or France, with willingness to travel 50% of the time.
- Demonstrated success as a commercial lead in a large region for a startup.
- Skilled at engaging key opinion leaders and executives.
- Experienced in introducing and selling new technologies against established competitors.
- Strong understanding of life science research and clinical genomics markets.
- Well-developed network and ability to influence decision-making across teams.
- Strong business insight and strategic acumen.
- Effective communication skills.
