QA Automation Engineer with Java

Job Description

Veeam, the #1 global market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Middle/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to join the Veeam Backup for Salesforce team. This role is based in Lisbon, Portugal, and involves developing testing strategies and automated tests for software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and automated testing tools.

The QA Automation Engineer will contribute to improving product quality through comprehensive testing and analysis. Role Involves:

• Developing testing strategies for software products
• Developing automated tests for integration and functional scenarios
• Maintaining test documentation
• Validating tests and scenarios written by other testers
• Conducting test cycles using functional, integration, and load testing
• Evaluating test results and preparing reports
• Analyzing results and increasing test coverage

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, HTTP
• Knowledge of Selenium; API testing experience
• Knowledge of Docker
• Knowledge of the principles of distributed systems
• Knowledge of automated testing tools: TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, etc.
• Skill and experience in collecting system requirements
• Understanding of system interoperability
• Understanding of the differences between various types of testing
