Job Description

Veeam, the global leader in data resilience, is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join their Veeam Kasten team in Prague. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and testing significant features in the Kasten product related to backup and recovery of Kubernetes applications. They will work on UI/UX designs in Figma, implement mobile-responsive CSS, and automate code quality with unit and end-to-end UI tests.

The role involves a breadth of skills, from initial design and UX wireframing to CSS styling, REST APIs, and JS development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reactive frameworks and experience with design systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning meaningful parts of the product
  • Preparing UI/UX designs in Figma
  • Designing mockups and conducting UX testing
  • Using a breadth of skills at every level of development
  • Automating code quality with unit tests and end-to-end UI tests

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing, testing, and debugging Javascript/TypeScript
  • Online portfolio (e.g., portfolio site, CodePen account, or GitHub)
  • At least one year of experience with a reactive framework such as React, Angular, or VueJS
  • Visual design experience and the ability to create visually appealing interfaces
  • Ability to implement designs in mobile-responsive CSS and experience with a CSS preprocessor such as SCSS
  • Experience creating design systems and building reusable web components
