The ACLU is seeking an Organizing Manager to join its National Political Advocacy Department. This role involves designing and leading complex organizing strategies, supporting the development of organizing plans, and managing consultants/contractors. The Organizing Manager will collaborate with policy counsels and campaign strategists, develop strategic partnerships, and convene on-the-ground organizing meetings. The role requires tracking program progress, producing call and text scripts, and leveraging volunteer teams.
Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity building and leading coalitions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with earned media strategies.
