Sotheby's is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join their Human Resources team. Reporting to the US Head of Benefits, this role will be responsible for the administration of US and Canada employee health, wellness, leave, and retirement benefit plans.Sotheby's is looking for a Benefits professional with drive, initiative, and a passion for benefits. The ideal candidate will be analytical, comfortable managing large data sets, and detail-oriented. They should also be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Responsibilities:
Interface with HR Business Partners, Finance, and Payroll regarding Benefits policies, practices, and communications.
Oversee the US Benefits inbox to resolve employee inquiries.
Manage new hire orientation and process QLE enrollments.
Assist with benefits administration, including ACA, enrollment, termination, and COBRA.
Administer and track employee leave and retirement plans.
Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS/Benefit system.
Process and review semi-monthly/weekly payroll deductions.
Review, track, and submit vendor invoices and payments.
Maintain the department shared drive and update team documents.
Support the administration of Benefits plans and the overall year-end process.
Communicate to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Perform other special projects and duties as needed.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in benefits.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized with solid administrative/follow-through skills.
Strong team player with client service orientation.
Strong attention to detail and precise follow-through.
Ability to prioritize effectively.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to provide a high-quality employee experience.
The role offers:
A proposed base salary ranging from $80,000-$110,000.
