Job Description
Torq is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to enhance its security strategy. The candidate will be responsible for securing cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and incident response practices. This role involves shaping the security posture, identifying threats, and effectively responding to security events. Torq is experiencing rapid growth and is recognized as a top startup employer.

Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen and maintain cloud security posture using CNAPP tools.
  • Manage security controls and configurations across SaaS platforms.
  • Collaborate on incident response, including triage and containment.
  • Develop detection content using SIEM and Hyperautomation workflows.
  • Evolve Incident Response and Security Operations programs.
  • Optimize security tool configurations.
  • Support compliance initiatives like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Work with the CISO on strategic security projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive security best practices.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud and SaaS.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP and/or AWS, preferably in containerized environments.
  • Proficiency with cloud security platforms like CSPM, DSPM, SSPM, and CNAPP.
  • Experience with SIEM tools and Hyperautomation workflows.
  • Strong ability to assess risk and troubleshoot issues.
  • Understanding of API integrations.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts is a plus.
