Facilities Maintenance Technician I

Job Description

Harbinger Motors is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment. The role ensures a safe, functional, and pleasant working environment. The ideal candidate will have basic technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks.
• Installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance.
• Assists with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, and installation of fixtures.
• Utilizes a work order system to log activities.

Requirements:

• General understanding of building trades (electric, plumbing, painting).
• Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and manuals.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices.
• Experience with building management systems (BMS) is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license and dependable transportation.
