The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Software Solutions Engineer for their Organized Play team. This role focuses on designing and developing software applications, primarily within the Salesforce ecosystem, to support live events and programs related to Pokémon video and trading card games. The engineer will work within the OP Tools and Business Systems (OPTABS) team, contributing to the technology and process ecosystem for internal and external stakeholders.What this role involves:
Applying computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to software development.
Designing and developing solutions in Salesforce.com using Force.com, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs.
Supporting native Salesforce ecosystem integrations, backend services, and AWS technologies.
Collaborating with product managers and program teams to deliver customized solutions.
Analyzing system enhancement requirements and translating them into well-architected solutions.
Identifying opportunities to leverage Salesforce innovatively for process improvement and organizational scaling.
Creating flowcharts and documentation to identify software requirements and propose solutions.
Coordinating with cross-functional staff to assess the feasibility of designs under cost and time constraints.
Handling escalated support requests and providing timely resolutions to technical challenges.
Contributing to the full software development lifecycle, including configuring, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting Salesforce features.
Requirements:
Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience or equivalent expertise.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Extensive knowledge of software systems and programming languages.
Proficiency with software engineering tools and applications such as AWS, Databricks, and Gitlab.
Relevant Salesforce certifications.
Familiarity with Human Centered Design principles, Lean, Agile Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence is helpful.
