TEMPORARY - Research Quality Compliance Coordinator (QC)

Job Description

Arizona Liver Health (ALH) is seeking a TEMPORARY Research Quality Compliance Coordinator (QC) to ensure high standards of scientific excellence. This role is based in either Peoria or Chandler, AZ. The coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity and patient safety through quality assurance reviews and management of clinical research activities.Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine data quality assurance checks.
• Review data for deviations, errors, omissions, or inconsistencies.
• Ensure studies adhere to site SOPs.
• Collaborate with research staff and the Principal Investigator to address identified issues.
• Complete and review CAPAs as needed.
• Work with clinic staff to address audit findings.
• Ensure complete and appropriate documentation.
• Liaise with study sponsors to resolve questions.
• Work with CRC to ensure consistency between source and EDC.
• Assist in training research staff regarding QC.
• Meet with CRA at monitoring visits regarding findings.
• Engage other research staff as needed.

Requirements:

• A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, principles of GCP and biomedical research ethics.
• Experience developing, managing, and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Understanding of and experience in developing and supporting Corrective and Preventative Action Plans (CAPA).
• Ability to work independently, and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and execute tasks
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft office and understanding of CTMS/EMR software
• High level of critical thinking
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in healthcare, clinical research management, or related field.

The role offers:

• Compensation: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time, 3-Month Contract (eligible for overtime)
• Health, Dental, Vision (with HSA plans and employer contribution)
• 5 days Sick Time
