Job Description
Jencap is seeking an Account Executive to assist brokers and teams with handling and placing new and renewal insurance policies. The Account Executive will evaluate risk exposures and determine the best market for premium and coverage. This role requires strong marketplace knowledge and is critical to Jencap's business retention. The position is based in the Quincy, MA office.

Responsibilities:
  • Compares coverages & policy language for placement of renewal business
  • Underwrites existing renewals to determine carrier acceptability & competitive pricing
  • Review submissions & provide decisions on which markets to access for various types of coverage
  • Rates & prepares insurance quotes
  • Maintains strong product knowledge
  • Contributes to the growth of the organization
  • Hits targeted renewal retention goals
  • Upholds departmental service standards
  • Coordinates daily workflow to meet deadlines
  • Produces a significant volume of work efficiently in a specified period of time
  • Review inspections to determine if coverages & limits are sufficient
  • Responsible for adhering to multiple contracts/ guidelines for our Binding Authority markets

Requirements:
  • Five plus years of commercial insurance experience.
  • Wholesale industry experience a plus.
  • Professional negotiation, interpersonal, written, & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize & multi-task with a sense of urgency
  • Cooperate, work, & communicate well with co-workers, supervisors, & outside contacts as part of a team environment
  • Demonstrate proper judgement & decision-making skills
  • Capable of marketing, quoting, & binding of all Personal Lines Risks
  • Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills
