Job Description
WellPower is seeking a Licensed ASL Fluent Clinician to provide direct clinical care to Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing individuals in an outpatient setting. The clinician will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, using a strengths-based, person-centered, and culturally responsive approach.
Responsibilities: - Provide diagnostic mental health assessments.
- Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
- Develop and monitor treatment plans.
- Coordinate medication needs with psychiatric and medical resources.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Deliver services via telehealth and in-person.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and supervisory sessions.
Requirements: - Master’s Degree in social work or doctorate in psychology.
- Current license as a LCSW or Licensed Psychologist in Colorado or license eligible.
- At least 2 years of experience providing therapy.
- Experience providing clinical behavioral health services to deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind children and adults.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language.
- Knowledge of therapeutic best practices for Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing persons.
