Licensed ASL Fluent Clinician

Job Description

WellPower is seeking a Licensed ASL Fluent Clinician to provide direct clinical care to Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing individuals in an outpatient setting. The clinician will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, using a strengths-based, person-centered, and culturally responsive approach.Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic mental health assessments.
• Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans.
• Coordinate medication needs with psychiatric and medical resources.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Deliver services via telehealth and in-person.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and supervisory sessions.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in social work or doctorate in psychology.
• Current license as a LCSW or Licensed Psychologist in Colorado or license eligible.
• At least 2 years of experience providing therapy.
• Experience providing clinical behavioral health services to deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind children and adults.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language.
• Knowledge of therapeutic best practices for Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing persons.
